Bleach Spots

Many household chemicals like acne medication, detergents, deodorizers, disinfectants, hair sprays etc. containing bleaching agents coming in contact with your carpet may cause bleaching action on the dyes present in the carpet fibers. The result may be stains ranging from white to light yellow, pink and beige.

To prevent these stains, hands must be washed carefully after using any of these chemicals. Once bleached, these stains are permanent and require redyeing to treat them. The bleaching action may have the undesirable side effect of weakening the carpet fibers too.
