Download the latest versions of Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer

The version of the Internet Explorer normally shipped with AOL is a 40-bit version, which usually does not include all the features of the complete version. AOL 4.0 users can directly download the latest version of Internet Explorer Browser from their AOL Internet connection itself by following the steps given below:

  1. Log on using your regular AOL connection.
  2. Go to Internet Connection Window
  3. Type '128 browser' (without the ''!) in the keyword window and click 'find'.
  4. The result window will take you to the place where you can download a 128 bit version of IE 4.0

This step may take some time. AOL automatically logs out users after 45 minutes of inactivity. To prevent losing your connection, please do not leave your browser inactive.

You can also download the latest versions of IE and Netscape browsers from the company websites. These downloads are FREE.
