This course is organized in five modules. The first module gives an introduction to and a historical overview of Oriental Rugs; the second module tells us how an oriental rug is made and about the fibers used to the finishing processes; while the third module talks about their various design elements. The fourth module explores some popular formats of oriental rugs and the fifth gives a brief description of the factors that make these rugs such cherished treasures.
