About the Instructor 

 Jeff BishopJeff’s teaching career began in 1973 at a variety of workshops and conventions. He’s produced 13 books and 7 videos on cleaning and restoration subjects that are distributed internationally. He has written hundreds of articles on management, sales and technical subjects for industry magazines. Currently, Jeff writes monthly columns for Australian and US magazines.

He provides management for 3 diversified cleaning/restoration businesses serving Georgia, Alabama and Florida. He's a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in management. As administrator of Clean Care Seminars, Inc., Bishop teaches over 50 courses annually in 9 cleaning and restoration subjects. He provides 4 courses for agent/adjuster continuing education for restoration contractors to sponsor. He also serves as an expert witness in litigation involving fire and water damage restoration procedures.

Jeff serves as Chairman of the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification’s (IICRC) Certification Board, and as Director of the International Society of Cleaning Technicians (ISCT). He serves as editor and contributor for the IICRC Water Damage Restoration Standard, and Upholstery Cleaning Standard.

A member of the Cleaning and Restoration Hall of Fame, in 1991 Jeff was designated the CleanFax Magazine "Person of the Year" based on his contribution to the industry in writing the IICRC Standard for Carpet Cleaning.
